In this project we have made 963 of these plates which are going to be installed on a total of 107 offshore wind turbine foundations for the Borkum Riffgrund 3 and Gode Wind 3 offshore wind farms. The plates are securing the grates at the foundations' walking areas (external platform), and to avoid them from beings slippery, they have been given a non-slip surface.
The non-slip surface on the plates was previously created with non-slip tape - we have replaced that solution with sprayable polyurea, which provides a non-slip and not least a ultra-durable surface, which is needed in the harsh offshore environment.
